It only seemed as if it was just yesterday that the world was taken over by the controversial issue of Ellen Baker had died down. But now, a new English textbook had been released by Yudokuya doujin circle called Dawn Horizon.

Since the appearance of Battleship Iowa for the game Kancolle, it sparks @tomokity, the artist, to create a parody textbook of the New Horizon series which is being used by schools in Japan. The book casts Iowa as the teacher to teach her fellow Battleships to speak English since even in the game, she speaks a lot in English.
Now I know a lot of you must be going like - nope, this is not good. It's not right.
However, you don't have to worry if it'll bring up problems by law since the writer had permission from the Japanese Association for the Copyrights of Textbook Publishers and Tokyo Shoseki, New Horizon's publisher. Well, besides some virgins jerking off to Iowa and other battleships that is.
Despite it is called a parody, it is still a complete standard English textbook filled with Japanese translations and vocabulary list. As a fellow English learner, this is in fact really effective. Plus the character's skimpy outfits and big boobies, there will be a lot of perverted middle schoolers would love this book, as well as adults. Riiiiiight?
Don't worry dear parents, the characters are lively and it is suitable for kids. The characters are there solely to attract Kancolle groupies, weeabos and otakus alike.
