Gosh, for you guys who don't know, I am a sucker for the Shin Megami Tensei games. And to top it off, there's the latest Persona 5 coming up in September 2016 for Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. Darn, why won't they make a Playstation 2 version!? Well.... maybe it just won't cut with the new features they're adding in.
New artworks have been released on the official page giving us a closer look on Haru, Futaba and Makoto along with their Personas.
Below will be the characters along with their respective Persona. Well I'm just a N3 level in Japanese proficiency so don't blame me when I got off a little here and there in translating their character biography. Teehee~
Nijiima Makoto (CV: Sato Rina)
Persona: Johanna
A third-year student who attends the same high school as the protagonist. President of the student council with high morals and a strong sense of responsibility. Active and earnest, a straight-laced honor student who can’t be compromised with.
Truth be told, I kinda dig plain short-haired girls. So I really wish they could make her S.Link story could make me and you Persona fans go all giddy till' there's no tomorrow. I know it looks weird to have a motorbike as a Persona, but Johanna's design really hits in both aesthetics and functionality... at least it seems like it. Anyways, on to the next one!
Okumura Haru (CV: Tomatsu Haruka)
Persona: Milady
A third-year high school student and daughter of the president of a big food service manufacturer. Refined but seen little of life, but Haru has watched a lot of people and has gained high communication skills.
Okay, the seiyuu's name and the character's name... see anything interesting there? Yep, they're the same! Minus the 'Ka' at the end of the seiyuu's name, though. So basically this is the next Amagi Yukiko from Persona 4. But man oh man that Persona's name. I-I can't even make any suitable joke for this one. "It's just so sad" as Filthy Frank says.
Sakura Futaba (CV: Yuki Aoi)
Persona: Necronomicon
A young girl who is considered a programming prodigy with inhumane computing abilities. She’s the age of a first-year high school student, but on top of having difficulties in communicating with others, a certain incident has caused her to be a shut-in.
Glasses, check. Long red hair, check. Computer geek, check. Cutie, check. Favourite seiyuu, check. That's it. First S.Link to go maximum hands down. Futaba aside, look at that flying f**k! All this time I believed the Necronomicon would be something like a book. My life had been a lie!

Well, that's all the updates I got for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5. I know you guys can't wait for it's release this September. Reminder, it'll be release in Japan first. That means no subs for you dubs groupie. To those who owns Playstation 3 and 4, I can only wish happy playing to you lucky bastards. I haven't got any of those to... YET. I guess all I can do for now is just enjoying this Labyrs figure over here.
